the streams move into the corners, engaging
the walls, pedestals + floor of the gallery. these began as chalk drawings on kraft paper,
and are evolving into quite a series. some are fully circuitous, uncharacteristic for streams, i know, really more like racetracks, while
others reach a conclusion, a lake without outlet.
drawing in chalk in the corner

a good artist and a great one is what they allow out of the studio, nevertheless i am allowing you a peek behind the scenes,
complete with sawdust, masking tape and clamps...
i started this one by building a miter-folded box of mdf
just cut away what doesn't belong
the figure is trapped inside; i just have to release it (apologies to michelangelo)
for some reason this template won't let me add
anything to the right>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
in a bit of turnabout, this piece is painted flat white and will have a walnut pedestal
