i'm revisiting themes and materials i used in the ever-so-rich years of the late 60s, uc davis

this piece, inspired by the flat agricultural landscape surrounding the university, speaks to the spirit of wm. t. wiley and his sharpie drawings

in 1969, robert arneson chose the original incarnation of this piece to be in a show he was curating called "the davis bunch." 

in his honor, since both he and the original sculpture are deceased, i have re-interpreted it.  r.i.p. bob...
